Rough Around the Edges Scarf

This pattern is knitted top down, starting with just a few stitches. It uses mock cables, which are much easier to work since no cable needle is required. The edging is bound off to appear rough and unfinished, although a conventional bind off can be used to change the overall look and neaten it. The yarn is held doubled throughout.
